Karl Usher

President and Owner

Karl has over 30 years experience in the machining and manufacturing business. A former professional motocross rider, Karl holds a mechanical engineering degree from the Oregon Institute of Technology. An accomplished tennis and volleyball player, he coaches women's volleyball at the Multnomah Athletic Club with his wife, Sandra. Also a pilot and real estate investor, Karl and Sandra live in Hillsboro, Oregon with their two daughters, Erika and Ariel.

Brad Durham

General Manager

After earning his degree in Business Administration from Linfield College, Brad spent 12 years working in the sports stadium management industry where he held management positions in eight stadiums along the west coast. Most recently he was the General Manager of Key Arena working for the Seattle Supersonics. Brad returned to his home roots and joined Usher Precision in 1996. An avid golfer, Brad lives in Portland with his wife, Katherine and has two sons, Zack and Noah.

Brian Bisceglia

Director of Operations and Quality

Brian brings over 30 years of manufacturing experience from high profile companies such as Gerber Legendary Blades and ESI. As a lean manufacturing and quality assurance expert, he strives towards the relentless elimination of waste in all processes and developed our quality management system resulting in an AS9100 and ISO 9001:2000 certification. His wife, Mary, is a communications consultant and together they have a son, Nicholas. Brian is also an avid golfer and makes his home in Tigard.

Dean Trump

Machine Shop Manager

Dean has over 25 years of extensive experience in close tolerance machining in large production runs. In addition to his programming and set-up skills, Dean works with customers and engineers to ensure the best end product. He holds a student pilot license and enjoys church activities, camping, boating, backpacking and other outdoor activities. He lives with his wife and four sons.

Rod Olson

Production Manager

Rod has been with Ushers for over 13 years as our Production manager. He was a former Army aircraft mechanic and has held similar positions with commercial aircraft companies. He holds a private pilot's license and an A&P mechanic license. He and his wife, Maggi, have a daughter Jade, a graduate of Willamette University.

Steve Crothers

Lead Machinist

Steve is a former Marine and has been a machinist for over 12 years. He moved to Oregon from New Mexico in 2005 and brings extensive experience with CNC mills, lathes, EDM and surface grinding. His expertise with MasterCam programming is one of Usher's greatest assets. He is an avid cyclist and skier and patrols with the Mt. Hood Ski Patrol. He lives in Hillsboro and has a daughter Elizabeth.

Kelly Watkins

Office Manager

Kelly has been our office manager since 2000. She is responsible for our receivables, payables, purchase orders, shipping and customer service. A Forest Grove native, she enjoys spending time with her children, camping, ATV riding and playing on a co-ed softball team
